The Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Board Website

We've developed this website to help children, young people, parents, carers, concerned adults and professionals to access advice and support to prevent abuse and protect our children.

Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Board (SCB) and all its members believe that on the whole, families keep children safe but sometimes they need some help to do this from experienced professionals. It is the SCB's role to ensure that when professionals work with families to safeguarding children the work is done to a high standard and we all work together to give children and their families the best service possible.

The SCB together with all partner agencies oversee the work that takes place in our city to protect children and young people from abuse and neglect. It helps to co-ordinate the way in which support services are delivered to those who need them.
